Student Government Association
SGA stands for
Student Government Association. It is the only organization that is totally for
students and governed by students. The only qualification you need to be a
member is to be a currently enrolled student at Ivy Tech Community College,
Region 11. Every student who enrolls at Ivy Tech is automatically a member. A
portion of your tuition is contributed to SGA funding. This money is used by
SGA, in cooperation with the student body, to fund items that students feel
enhance, enrich or enable their educational goals. SGA is the student
organization that is involved with activities with our local communities. We
sponsor local charity activities and encourage students to become active,
contributing members of their school and community.
